Today we picked everyone up from the airport and brought them back to Les Abrigaux for a lovely dinner prepared by Margot!
Quiche Lorraine:
Oven at 375˚ F
- 1 (9 in.) pie crust
- 1 ½ cups grated emmental
- 8 slices cri
- 1 ½ cups grated emmental
- 8 slices crisp bacon
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup milk
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- A dash of cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp. powdered mustard
Sprinkle cheese and bacon into the pie crust. Beat the remaining ingredients together. Pour the mixture over the cheese and bacon. Bake for 45 minutes or until done.
Serve with a simple salad.
